The old house, dating back to the 1500's and enlarged in the 1700's, nestles among the vineyards of the Colli Aretini, just 1 km from the centre of Arezzo.It has been restored and converted into four charming apartments, full of warmth and fascination.All the apartments are well-finished with attention to detail, and furnished with antiques including beautiful mirrors from the old house. A short walk away from the farm brings us to the swimming pool, equipped with comfortable sun-beds and plenty of shade, for protection from the summer sun.

A short walk away from the farm brings us to the swimming pool, secluded by the surrounding vineyards and the rolling Tuscan hills.A path through the vineyard brings us to an enchanting spot where silence reigns supreme.The passage of time ceases, as the charm of our surroundings evokes Raphael's, Leonardo da Vinci's and Piero della Francesca's landscapes.The hours pass by unnoticed while our guests enjoy the opportunity to sun-bathe in comfort or read a book under the shade of a parasol.

The garden

In a space enclosed by its wrought iron, Liberty style gate, the 16th century garden is adorned with ponds, oriental plants and flowerbeds.The garden is nowadays divided into two parts. One part still belongs to the old house, at present under lease to a private organisation, while the other belongs to the Farm.The space has been made suitable for guests to meet or dine, by the addition of benches, deck-chairs and tables.In spring and during September the tree blossoms provide invigorating scents.

Casa Gioconda

Accommodation for 4 persons.
This was built in 1900 and refurbished in 2000.
It accommodates 4 persons, so is ideal for a family.
It has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds; a large lounge with fireplace, one bathroom and a dinette kitchen.This is the largest apartment and has views of the garden and the adjacent vineyard. The ambience is made more pleasant and tasteful by the use of floral fabrics in the bedrooms, and outstanding antiques like the Tuscan late Empire console and bureau bookcase.In winter you can gather around the fireplace; while in summer the large windows open to the fresh greenery of the surrounding trees providing welcome shade during the hot months. A short walk beside the vineyards, abounding in red grapes ready for harvest, brings you to the swimming pool.Accommodation:

Casa Caterina

This was built in 1800 and refurbished in 2004.This small apartment is the ideal hideaway for anyone who loves the peace and quiet of the countryside. The lovely bedroom with its iron bedstead overlooks the Italian garden.It is ideal for people who like to write, or find the inspiration to create; and at the same time there is the opportunity to explore the area which is rich in art, not forgetting the historic centre of Arezzo, only 1 km away.Accommodation:

This consists of a section of the Gioconda Apartment which may easily be divided into a separate apartment.The fine bedroom with a mansard, bathroom with tub and beautiful mirror over the basin are separated from the lounge by a broad arch furnished with meadow green silk curtains. The small kitchenette in the lounge is hidden behind two antique wardrobe doors.A good-size dining table, along with a sheltered balcony, allow you to breakfast outside when the weather is fine and also give direct access to the garden. The swimming pool is easily reached via the path through the vineyard. Just right for the couple wanting to get away from it all.Accommodation:

The whole apartment is contained in a single 60 m2 space, suffused with a relaxing and cosy atmosphere.The light is a particular feature of this apartment, its atmosphere changing as the Sun moves throughout the day.
