is about 25 kms from Siena, an attractive medieval city known worldwide for its monuments and ‘Il Palio’. It is also near such charming localities as Montalcino, famous for its Brunello wine, Pienza, known for its artistic beauties and ‘pecorino’ cheese, Montepulciano, San Gimignano, Volterra and Massa Marittima. Along the coast there are towns such as Castiglione della Pescaia, Punta Ala and the untouched, natural Parco dell’Alberese, where one can observe wild animals, such as foxes, wild boars, deer, and herons while strolling along the trails on foot or horseback. Otherwise spend a day on the beach surrounded by a pine wood.Monte Amiata, (alt.1738m) is also easily accessible from Casale di Pari 431
and offers many enjoyable things to do all year round: downhill and cross country skiing, trekking, lake and river fishing, thermal baths, gourmet restaurants and a fauna/flora park.
