Villa description

This luxury property is located in the centre of Tuscany in the Castelfiorentino area and is perfect for those wanting to relax in the Tuscan countryside and visit the key tourist centres of Florence, Pisa, Siena, Lucca and Monteriggioni. Our property was part of the old tenement of the Marquis Gelli. It is located on a hilltop with a 360° view of the typical Tuscan landscape of smooth hills, covered in vineyards and olive trees, variegated fields and cultivated valleys. The view is breathtaking and inspiring.
The building was originally built as a forge but has now been completely reborn as a splendid independent villa (300 m² in size) with approximately 7500 m² of garden, suitable as children's playground. In the lower part of garden, there is our wide swimming pool. If you exit from the upper part of the Villa, you will sure remain surprised to find a natural pond inhabited by our swans and ducks, suitable for sport fishing On the banks of the lake, in the garden, there is a quaint wooden gazebo with chairs and tables, and a stone barbecue just perfect for enjoy dinner in the setting sun.
A bit further, there are paddocks with horses, very actractive for children, and you may have luck to see flying peacocks. Upon arrival you will be greeted with a snack of "bruschetta" (toasted bread with olive oil) and local wine. We will also provide you with a little supply of food (including wine and oil of our production). The parking is close to the villa; we will provide you with a remote control to open the gate. The owners who live in the property as well, will be pleased to suggest you sightseeing tours, excursions in the surroundings and good restaurants of course! The owners are extremely friendly and polite and will assure you utmost comfort and satisfaction.
It is preferable to rent the property in exclusive manner, to one customer, who can be a family or a group of friends, of at least 6 people. During middle and low season the property can be divided into three different sections; a villa, a 2 roomed apartment and an independent suite - all of which are described in the following links.
Air conditioning is to be paid under consumption.

Swimming pool

A wide swimming pool, with hydromassage corner, is at your disposal.
It is full equipped, with deckchairs, shower and hi-fi, for your complete relax, listening music.
Here you can enjoy a breathtaking view!
The swimming pool is usually open from 1 June until 15 September.

Villa - Inside

The standard of the villa is unparalleled in Castelfiorentino and it has been finely renovated and furnished with taste and individual furnishings that make it both welcoming, very comfortable and functional.
The villa has three stories:
On the ground floor there is a living area with a fireplace satellite television which is flooded with natural light from the huge windows.
The fully equipped kitchen is on the second floor and has a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven and table and chairs. Also on the second floor there is a dining area with table and chairs which is ideal for tasting specialities of the area with a good glass of local wine.
On the third floor there are two bedrooms:
- one bedroom, with 2 double beds and one baby crib;
- another one, with a double bed, a single bed, an extra bed is also available, and also a baby crib.
The bathroom is really wonderful, with walls decorated with majolica of Positano.
The internal areas of the villa are centrally heated and security is taken care of as there are safes and an alarm system for your peace of mind.

Apartment with kitchen facilities, 15 meters far from the main building, composed of dining room with kitchen and sofa bed, double room and bathroom.

Suite Depandance

This very nice suite, 15 meters far from the main building, is a studio with double bed, fireplace, kitchen and private bathroom (with walls decorated with majolica of Positano).
It is particularly suitable for one couple, who would like to spend some days in absolute privacy and quiet, in a characteristic place.
