The medieval castle, a national monument protected by the Ministry for Fine Arts, is dating back to 1100 A.D. The Castle is located on a hillside amid woods and vineyards in the southernmost tip of the Chianti region and today offers charming rooms inside the castle, and country style apartments in the farmhouse in the castle grounds.
