Situated above a glorious natural valley, allowing you so watch over the evocative scenery and discover old Etruscan settlements, towers and castles set against clear blue skies. These beautiful skies, and old castles represent the ancient and current cultures of the area. The farmhouse is an old building from the 1800s, comprising of eight apartments, each having an independent entrance, and are fully furnished which will ensure you a pleasant and comfortable stay. You also have 100 hectares of local estate to discover, there is a swimming pool too for relaxing in those hot summer months, and the useage of mountain bikes to see such places as Rocca di Pietracassia or the local castles and monuments.
Other Tuscan cities can also be reached easily, Florence is only 68 km away, and Siena is just 65 m away. Pisa is 48 km away and San Gimignano is 30 km away. There are also many seaside resorts within a short drive from us too, and Volterra is just 15 km away.

Activities

There are many things to do in the immediate vicinity of the building. Ranging from trekking, to mountain biking – a fantastic way to discover the local area and all it has to offer. There is also a stables nearby, where you can organise to spend a few hours with the horses. We also have our own swimming pool where you can relax and spend some time refreshing in the water. We also produce the following food stuffs:

Apartments

Two room apartments;
-CACIAIA is located on the first floor and has a double room, a bathroom with a shower and a kitchen-living area with a sofa bed and television, and so has a total of four sleeping places. There is also a provate gazebo for eating outdoors. Villinos;
-VILLINO is a small villa with a garden. It has three double rooms, two bathrooms with showers, kitchen-living area with a sofa bed and television, a big terrace area with tables and chairs. It has original features such as ceiling beams too and a loft bedroom. There is also the possibility to have the two roomed apartment in the same building which would create an extra double room and bathroom bringing the total to 8 bed places. Four room apartment;
-SELLERIA is located on the ground floor and has three double rooms and also a bunk bed, two bathrooms with showers, and a kitchen, a sofabed and a television, and in total comprises 8 bed places. There is also an outdoor area with chairs and tables.Three room apartments;
-LOGGIA is located on the ground floor and has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds, a bathroom which disabled people can easily use, a kitchen with a sofa-bed, a television and an outdoor area with tables and chairs.
-TRINCIATOIO is on the ground floor and has two double rooms, one disabled persons friendly bathroom, a large kitchen with sofa-bed and television and has a total of six bed places. There is an outdoor garden area with a table and chairs.
-VECCHIA CUCINA is on the first floor and has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds, one bathroom with a shower, a kitchen-living space and fireplace, sofabed and television, and has a total of six bed places.
-CAPANNA is located on two floors with and has a rustique staircase and ceiling features, and has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds, there are two bathrooms, and a nicely sized kitchen-living area, a sofa-bed and television, with a total of 6 bed spaces. Outdoor garden area with a table and chairs.
-TERRAZZA is on the first floor and has a big open terrace area over-looking the hills of Volterra, equipped with tables and chairs and sunbeds, there are two bedrooms, one has a double bed, and one has two single beds, there is one bathroom with a shower and a living room with a sofa-bed and television. There are six total bed places.
