Holiday house description

Position: Montaione (Florence), Tuscany - Italy is a very old town with medieval origins, rich in art, culture and traditions. Its territory, typical of Chianti countryside, is made up of lovely hills cultivated with grapevines and olive-trees, and is surrounded by old villages, farms and villas which presents the best way to spend holidays in the name of relax in contact with nature. Furthermore, with its network of pathways into the countryside and the woods, Montaione is the ideal place for naturalists and active holidays on mountain bike or horse riding and for bird-watching. For the Golf-lovers, the Castelfalfi Golf Club, offers an 18 holes way (Par 73), that is considered the most difficult in Italy. In the surroundings you can find several typical restaurants and direct sales of oil, wine, truffles.
Property: holiday home with family running set up, has a very strategic location: is very close to the old center of Montaione (only 800 mt.), to take advantage of all the comforts of town; but is also isolated, into Egola's river valley of exclusively owned property. All around, cultivation of grapevines, olive - trees and orchards, that make this beautiful place ideal for those who want to find peace and tranquility. At the same time, it is possible to get in the medieval centers of San Gimignano, Volterra, Colle Val d'Elsa, and all the resorts of the Tirrenic coastline (included Elba Island).
Apartments: for our guests, we have two independent apartments, Molino and Fienile, recently restructured and furnished with care and attention to preserve the typical old Tuscan architectural characteristics like arches, red-bricks and wooden flooring. Furniture and fittings are original antiques.
Both apartments are rentable or separately or together.Surroundings: all around the apartments there is a great park (25.000 m²) with wide green spaces, where a swimming pool (4 x 7 - open from may 1st to September 30th) is located, with umbrellas and deck-chairs. Grass regular-sized soccer ground. Possibility of theme dinner at close-by farm that produce biological products. Covered parking. The owner lives in a nearby cottage and is available for any problem. The street to access to the property (600 mt.) is not suitable for sporting cars.

Molino: 250 m² with 10 bed-places (1 triple room, 3 double rooms and 1 single room).
Ground floor: large kitchen/dining room (30 m²) with fireplace in stone, oven, dish-washer and TV SAT.
First floor: large living room with two sofas, TV SAT and a fireplace in stone; 1 triple, 1 double and 1 single room. A big bathroom with bath-tub and shower.
Second floor: 2 double rooms, bathroom with shower. Big court yard with rare pot plants, tables and a big barbecue to eat in the open air.
Independent heating. Available small beds for small children. Furniture and fittings are original antiques.

Il Fienile apartment

Fienile: (70 m²) with 4 bed-places (2 double rooms) + 1 (single sofa-bed).Ground floor: kitchen, bathroom with shower, living room with sofa-bed and TV SAT, 1 double room.First floor: wonderful double room with a panoramic view on the property. The house has a private fenced garden, ideal for pets.
In the garden there's a roofing for lunches and barbecue at open air. The furniture are smart and comfortable. Independent heating. Available small beds for small children.

Le Volte apartment

Le Volte: (60 m²) with one double bedroom + living room with double sofa-bed)
- Ground floor: kitchen, living room with a double sofa-bed and TV SAT, 1 double room, bathroom with large shower.
The house has a private fenced garden, Roofed garden area ideal for dining and barbecuing.
The furniture are smart and comfortable. Independent heating Cots for small children available.
