Location: the hamlet of Fabbrica was built in Medieval times by the noble families of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany. It sits on top of a hill, 150mt. above sea level, overlooking a magnificient scenery of vineyards, olive trees and gentle hills surrounding the town of Volterra.
This hamlet, although many centuries have gone by, has not suffered from changes spoiling its characteristic flavour, keeping as true and typical as the people of Tuscany can witness.
The hamlet spreads over the highest spot, where was the stronghold and other, gentler and less steep hills, the dwellings were built and amongst these we find the villa.
Description: this is an elegant liberty stile villa built around 1800, carefully restored approximately 10 years ago, maintaining its typical architecture.
Some of the original furniture and furnishing, careful taste in every detail, give it an elegant feel, enriched by precious decorations, paintings and original arched ceilings bring us back in time and give us a taste of the place as it was.
Villa can accommodate up to 11 people.
The house is 400 square meters spread on two floors. Facilities included: water, gas, electricity, kitchen, bed and bath linen, final cleaning, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, TV, DVD, BBQ, gazebo, children’s playground with swing, table tennis, etc.
Facilities at a charge: telephone, air/con ( € 0.30 per kw), heating ( € 4,00 per unit/cubic meter), jnternet connection, local produce on sale ( wine, olive oil, honey, etc.), typical Tuscan dinner, gastronomical tours, art and Italian language courses, cooking course, guided tours to the most beautiful and artistic cities in Tuscany.
Pets allowed € 40,00 for the entire stay. Environs: within walking distance you find: food shop, bar/patisserie, bank, post office, chemist, doctor.
