Tuscany Pescia: Accommodation in Farmhouse

Farmhouse profile

Location: the farmhouse is located in "Monte a Pescia", one of the most beautiful areas of the Tuscany, with a superb scenic view and surrounded by woody hills that include also Collodi, the homeland of the famous puppet Pinocchio.
It is a romantic castle with only a few houses and an ancient charch, the Romanic "Pieve dei Santi Bartolomeo e Andrea". Composition: the farm includes the villa "Uccelliera" (800 mq on three floors) where Paolina Bonaparte was told to meet her lovers, the little villa "July" (160 mq on two floors and with a panoramic terrace of 100 mq), the villa "On Wood's thresholds "(200 mq on two floors) and the cottage "Belvedere" (110 mq).
The villas are surrounded by both the Olive growing of the farm (producing 1500 lt /year of Olive oil) and a great extension of wood, property of the farm, in which is possible to do pleasant walks.
In the neighborhood: hot springs of Montecatini (thermal centre famous in Europe with a delightful Middle Ages hamlet), hot springs of Monsummano, trips to Collodi, stupendous Middle Ages country where is the Garzoni Castle with the famous Italian garden, and to the castles of both the Pescia valleys and the Valdinievole valley (Aramo, Castelvecchio, Potito, Stiappa, Sorana, S.Quirico, Buggiano, Uzzano, Montecarlo, etc).
Distances: being close to major art towns such as Lucca (18 km), Pistoia (18 lm), Pisa (30 km) and Florence (50 km), the farmhouse is an excellent starting point for the art tourism. Within the range of 30 min driving also the beaches of the Versilia can be reached. A slightly longer drive may lead to the Abetone, Siena and Volterra. Sport: swimming can also be played in the farm swimming pool. Within the range of 5 min driving there is a tennis court; within the range of 30 min driving a golf course.
In the upper photo there is a general view of the estate; starting from left it is possible to see villa July with his arcade, villa Uccelliera (containing the apartments called "Oleandro", a right for disabled persons, "Ortensia", "Orchidea" and "Vecchio Forno"), sheds assigned to agriculture works, villa "On wood's thresholds" (containing the apartments "La Pineta" and "I Castagni"), lastly villa "Belvedere".

Villa Giulia

The apartment n. 6 is a little independent villa called "villa July" . Complessively it has a surface of mq. 150 on two floors, Furthrmore, around the villa it has a terrace of about 120 mq . At first floor it has two bedrooms for complessively 5 beds, each bedroom with bathroom. At ground zero it has a kitchen, another bathroom and a big living room with fireplace, dining angle and conversation angle. In this room there is also a double divan bed so that the capacity of the apartment can arrive to 7 beds.

Oleandro - Ortensia

The apartment n. 5, called "Oleandro" has a surface of 72 sqm and is constituted by two double bedrooms, a bathroom and a living room with kitchen angle. In this living room there is also a double divan-bed so that the number of persons can reach 6 units.Can be added a bed in the living room so that the complessive capacity is of 4+1 = 5 persons. It can be utilized by handcap men. The apartment n. 4, called "Ortensia" has a surface of 100 mq. and is constituted by two double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large living room with kitchen angle and fire place.

Orchidea - Vecchio Forno

The apartment n. 3, called "Orchidea" has a surface of 100 mq and is constituted by three double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room with a fully equiped kitchen angle. There are also two supplementary beds, so that the complessive capacity is of 8 beds. The apartment n.2, also called "the old oven", has a surface of 86 mq and a terrace of 60 mq. It includes the room that was the library of the old villa, where there is a beatiful tuscany fire place. In it can be lodged until 5 persons, 3 in the bedroom and 2 in a divan-bed placed in the living room.

I Castagni

The apartment n. 7, called "The chestnut tree" is the ground zero of a little villa called "At wood limit".
It has a surface of 82 mq. and a terrace of about 35 mq. It is constituted by two double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room with fireplace and kitchen angle.

La Pineta

The apartment n. 8, called "La Pineta" constitutes the upper floor of the villa "Sulle Soglie del Bosco".
It has a surface of mq 72 and is constituted by a double bedroom, a bathroom and a great living room (about 50 mq) with a kitchen angle fully equipped. In the living room there is a double divan bed so that the capacity of the appartment reaches 4 peoples .
