At only 2 km from the Medieval walls of Florence, the Scandicci 90 Bed and Breakfast rests amidst an old village bearing its name, once called "Podere delle Pietre Buone", in existence since 1400. Surrounded by a thick vegetation with tall cypresses, the village is characterized by a cluster of buildings that are typical of the rural Tuscan landscape.An old mill, a barn, a wine-fermentation room, a brick-kiln (once a factory for the construction of fired bricks) a peasant's house, with courtyard paved in stone, surrounded by a porch and other buildings, next to the proprietor's Villa with a little Chapel decorated with 1700 frescoes and the former lemon-house overlooking a hanging garden have today been transformed into cozy homes, without modifying the original architecture.
