Holiday house description

Location: the holiday house is immersed in this fairy countryside and close to the ancient town of Scansano, a characteristic village on top of a hill in the Alta Maremma in Tuscany, full of history.
Composition: the holiday house is composed of 14 apartments, built ex-novo, in tipically maremman style, with hot materials such as wood, rock, roof tile, brickwork.
Services: the structure provides a swimming pool, a wellness area and a fully-equipped riding centre, where skilled teachers will help you during your first approach with horses.
Cooking courses: you can learn how to prepare homemade pasta, meat specialities and delicious local desserts (typical Tuscan dishes).
Our holiday house offers to you the chance to taste the specialities of the Tuscan cooking, a typical expression of the healthy and tasty Mediterranean diet, renowned all over the world thanks to the genuineness of its dishes and choice wines.
Restaurant: our restaurant, inside the country house, offers the typical dishes of the Tuscan traditional cuisine.
Tuscan Traditional Cuisine: home-made Pasta, our hors d’oeuvres, born from the simple, peasant cooking, include the famous bruschette, toasted bread seasoned with fresh tomato, garlic, local mushrooms or spring vegetables and, of course, our strong flavoured extra-virgin olive oil. In alternative, we suggest our well-known crostino.
Environs: the region of Maremma, in the South of Tuscany, alternates between gentle slopes of vineyards and silver olive groves, and countless, wild, polychromatic hills, which owe their shading to the metalliferous contents of the soil.
Here, in the heart of the Etruscan culture, among chestnut, pine and ilex woods, you can find wide meadows and wheat cultivated fields: the ideal locations for those who want to spend a typical farm holiday in a holiday house in Tuscany.
You can visit small, ancient towns, like Rocchetta di Fazio, Sovana and Pitigliano, and pass by Medieval castles built in dominant positions, to defend the surrounding territories from the Saracen attack.

Apartments in two rooms

Composition: each apartment is composed of a living room with fire-place + a sofa’ bed (for one or two persons), kitchenette, TV, and terrace or garden. A double room, a bathroom with shower.

Apartments in four rooms

Composition: each apartment is located on two floors. At the ground floor there are a large living room with fireplace (two single beds can be added on request), kitchenette with dish-washer and oven.
At the first floor there are a double room and bathroom with whirlpool bath. Large outside porch, satellite TV, direct dial phone, hair dryer.

Beauty farm

Wellness area: the structure has a fully-equipped beauty farm with indoor swimming pool, calidarium, tepidarium, laconicum and frigidarium, whirlpool bath, and massages, aesthetical treatments and Oriental disciplines.

Riding centre

Riding centre: skilled teachers will help you during your first approach with horses. You can make spectacular rides through the gentle Tuscan hills, or follow advanced courses on the behaviour and language of the horses.
The center is a member of the Italian Equestrian Sport Federation (FISE), working together only with qualified instructors.
Excursions: for those liking life at open air and loving life in untouched ambient, going along fascinating Tuscan roads in mountain-bike or choosing extraordinary horse ridings among Tuscan Maremman sweet hills, finding back harmony of a primeval contact with nature, the structure puts at your disposal its park, hills, woods and a fantastic landscape!
Wellbeing Paths: they are 3 paths studied for walking by feet, ridings by mountain bike or horse ridings, passing through our property woods, which will give you the possibility of discovering our area marvels.
Let’s discover together these 3 Wellbeing Paths:

• Journey by feet (about 1500 metres): thought for individual or guided trips will allow you discovering sounds and flavours characterizing our area.
• Journey by mountain bike (about 1800 metres): through the Mediterranean Maquis and following the signed country roads you will have the chance to see roe-bucks grazing, pheasants and hares looking for food.

• Journey on horseback (about 3500 metres): ideal for those preferring to ride inside our property, it isn’t so difficult to face and very fluent. Following a walking, trot gait, or galloping for little courses, you will have the possibility of meeting wild animals like hares, pheasants and roe-bucks.
