In history books about Siena, which was a witness to many events that forged the destiny of the city, and was laid waste by a band of Spaniards in 1554.
Among the gentle outlines of this landscape and its impressive games of light, a typical treasure of this part of the Chianti region, the Villa monet blends harmoniously with the surrounding environment. Here, in old times renowned oil and wine were made; nowadays the owners welcome their guests personally to apartments that have been masterly renovated observing the original forms and architectural styles.
Here lovers of history, art and culture can share those emotions that moved our ancestors to elect this place as their home; the hearty welcome and kind, true attentions you will receive will do the rest to make your stay unforgettable. The Fattoria Siena 267 is situated about 8 km. from Siena,­ the city of art which is so important to the culture and history of Tuscany. It is also only 3 km. from the 408 road which from Siena leads you to Florence, passing through Gaiole, Radda and Greve in Chianti. Neither is it far from other equally charming localities, such as Montalcino, Pienza and Montepulciano (to the south ) and San Gimignano, Volterra, and Massa Marittima ( to the west) all are no more than 50 km. away.
It is equally easy, taking the motorway between Siena and Grosseto and passing through parts of Maremma, to arrive at the most pleasant beaches of the Tirreno Sea (for example Punta Ala, Castiglione della Pescaia and Talamone, all of which are less than 100 km. away). In the Chianti Siena, the landscape is characterised by the presence of numerous farmhouses and villas where the Sienese aristocracy traditionally spent their time (between the Palio on the 2nd of July and on the 16th of August) on their own Villa holidays­ often inviting artists and lovers of the arts. Our Italian garden bears testimony to all this.The building, settled in the luscious green Tuscan countryside, is framed by the Italian Garden and the so called bosco inglese - or English wood. Between the olive groves you will find the Viale dei Cipressi which leads to the swimming pool, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Siena and its surroundings in the distance.
Each self catering apartment is furnished with its own well equipped kitchen. Those who wish to stock up on food can find anything they desire in the grocers in San Giovanni (1 km.), Ponte a Bozzone (2 km.), Pianella (5 km.) and at the Coop supermarket (7 km) on the outskirts of Siena.
For those who wish to eat out in the surrounding area ­ within a radius of 4-5 km. you will find good, typical restaurants.

Rustico Voliera

This beautiful  three rooms-cottage ( independent lodging ) includes  living room and kitchen corner. There are two double bedrooms and two en suite bathrooms stall showers. The private outdoor area is equipped with a dining table and enjoys a beautiful view of Siena in the distance. Air conditioning and satellite TV.

Ceremonies

The environment has been completely restored with cap vaults and terracotta floors. Capacity is up to a hundred and twenty people for weddings, meetings and dinner parties and we can provide a full catering service.
From here it is possible to reach a large terrace and guests can also make use of estensive external areas including a beautiful Italian garden.
The Fattoria Siena 267 is an ideal setting for weddings and we are happy to suggest and organize possible catering solutions. We can recommend photographers, a florist, a DJ, a piano bar and music concerts as well.
