Farmhouse description

Farmhouse is and old homestead in Tuscany, accurately restructured with particular attention to the preservation of its former constructive features.
The outer walls are bricked and the inside presents wooden-beams and brick floors.
The farmhouse is 600 metres above sea level in upper Maremma, on the hills surrounding Mount Aquilaia; from here you can admire the wonderful view of Mount Argentario up to Parco dell'Uccellina and Giglio Island, from Mount Cristo, Elba and Corsica to Castiglione della Pescaia gulf.
Farmhouse is immersed in the country and has an extent of about 25 land hectares where it is possible to stroll in the midst of nature and where you can appreciate the sight of roe deer, pheasants, hares, wild boars and other animals like donkeys, horses, sheep and poultry.
Besides, the farmhouse is provided with a large garden where old farm tools have been placed, which early twentieth century farmers used in the Tuscan country.
There is also, for common use, a launderette which can be gratis used by the guests. During the winter season, farmhouse Stribugliano 1059 is the ideal place for those who wish to go skiing on the Tuscan Apennines and particularly on Mount Abetone: the ski-runs are just 20 km away. Finally, it is possible to go on excursions riding a mountain-bike, starting from farmhouse Stribugliano 1059 to the surrounding lands, and trips to the nearest localities like:
- The thermal waters of Saturnia and Petriolo
- Pienza, Pitigliano, Sovana and the Etruscan Necropolis
- The Park of Maremma
- The Faunistic Park of Mount Amiata and Mount Labbro
- Mount Argentario, Orbetello, Giglio Island and the Roman city of Cosa
- Montalcino and Siena
- Roselle with its Etruscan and Roman ruins
- Castiglione della Pescaia
- Bagni San Filippo.

Accommodations

Farmhouse Stribugliano 1059 has 2 apartments.
Both the apartments can accomodate up to a maximum of 4 guests.
In total there are 10 rooms : single, double or triple. Each apartment is provided with an independent entrance. The entrances are situated on opposite sides of the farmhouse in order to assure the guests an absolute privacy.
All the apartments are furnished with cutlery, bed and kitchen cloths, bathroom, kitchen, oven and independent heating.
The garden is common and at every guests' disposal.

Fienile Apartment

Fienile Apartment
Fienile Apartment is provided with an independent entrance and its windows look on the meadows and the wood which surround the farmhouse.
The apartment can accommodate 2 or max. 4 guests and is composed of: double room, room with two single beds, bathroom with double wash-basin and bathtub, large living-room/ kitchen provided with a fine wooden table and armchairs.
The kitchen is provided with a complete set of cutlery and oven.
You are also provided with bed and kitchen cloths, central heating and both the wooden-beam celing and the brick floor make the room even more authentic and genuine.

Caciaia apartment

Caciaia Apartment
On the other side of the farmhouse, faced with Fienile apartment and provided with independent entrance, you find Caciaia Apartment.
The apartment is arranged to accommodate 2 or max. 4 guests and is made up of: a very large double room with private bathroom, double room, bathroom, living-room and fully accessorized and functional kitchen.
From the apartment you have direct access to the garden, either through the living-room or one of the bedrooms.
Apartment Caciaia is the perfect place for those who like to take their meals in the open air, even using barbecue, which is at our guests' disposal.
Moreover, you are provided with bed and kitchen cloths, central heating and, like in Fienile apartment, both the wooden-beam ceiling and the brick floor make the room very quaint and comfortable.
