Farmhouse description
Surrounded by gentle hills, the strictly organic land with almost 3000 olive trees that are generations old, and cattle freely grazing cattle. The farmhouse is in a valley that is partially formed by a gorge, at the end of which there is a spring which is feed be the natural waters of the Fonte Lepre. On your stays here you will frequently encounter the real masters of this beautiful land: deer, ducks, pheasants, hares and foxes and the occasional wild boar.
The long tree-lined driveway brings you to the farm's main farmyard, with the trough at the centre, where in the past the livestock quenched their thirst. Nearby, as a testimony of the past, you will find an old oil mill in the gardens of the two stone farmhouses. The Agriturismo is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday, surrounded by countryside, the sea, culture and amusement, sea sports, leisurely tours on horseback, vibrant colours and ever-changing scents - all in a totally natural setting.

Horses
Luigi is your man when it comes to horses.
With his great professionalism and passion for his work, respect for the land which always surprises, he will help you to pass some time away from the usual grind.
The placidity of our 8 horses, Quarter Horse, Appaloosa and Maremmani, as well as the safety of western riding, allow everyone to partake in country horse riding with perfect ease. Those with less experience and children will also have the opportunity to learn how to communicate with horses, so as to create a fundamental dialogue with the horse, both from the ground and from the saddle.
Furthermore, we will address interesting topics, such as the farriery (the work of a horseshoer) and the correct way to control your horse friend. For the more experienced, there will be rides at dawn that are organised on the hills of the Morellino vineyards, at sunset along the beach of Talamone, or more vigorous trekking along a tight network of paths which scramble up the Mediterranean scrubland to the peaks of the hills of the Uccellina mountains in the country of wild boars, deer, bucks, pheasants and hawks which mark the way. |
