Description: the farmhouse has been recently restored paying great attention to its original structure. There are 3 apartments, of which one is occupied by the owners.
The apartments are furnished with antique pieces of furniture according with the sophisticated simplicity of Tuscany’s classic style.

Location: the farmhouse is situated at Torrita di Siena, in the quiet secluded countryside between the Val di Chiana and the Val d’Orcia, yet within walking distance from the village.La vecchia cantina apartmentComposition: the 60-square-metre apartment owes its name to the fact that it used to serve the purpose of cellar.
Its lounge is very bright, thanks to a large window overlooking the garden. The cosy kitchen features a brickwork wall and vaulted ceiling.
The bedroom is also very bright and features a wooden ceiling and it is furnished with an antique chest of drawers dating back to the beginning of the Twentieth century and a wrought iron bed.
There is also a bathroom with shower. La mangiatoia apartmentComposition: the 60-square-metres apartment owes its name to the fact that it overlooks the old manger, which has also been the object of restoration.
The elegant lounge with vaulted ceiling features a double sofa bed and a large archway which separates it from the kitchen, characterised by a ceiling with wooden beams and terracotta floor.
The lounge is very bright, thanks to a large window overlooking the garden, where one can relax.
The antique furniture of the double bedroom (about 20 sq. m.) dates back to the beginning of the twentieth century. It comprises 2-door wardrobe and double bed with headboard decorated with real mother of pearl. There is also a bathroom with shower. Environs
What to see: the farmhouse is situated in the Val di Chiana yet it is not too distant from the beautiful Val d’Orcia.
The surrounding area offers many possibilities for a holiday which combines wellbeing and excursions to cities of art with churches and museums and timeless landscapes, not to mention food and drink.
This is in fact a renowned land for its extra virgin olive oil and its wines, such as Chianti, Nobile di Montepulciano, Brunello di Montalcino but also for T-bone steak and the sheep cheese of Pienza. From the structure one can go on one-day excursions and visit cities such as Montepulciano (5 km), Montefollonico, Pienza (15 km), San Quirico, Monticchiello, San Casciano dei Bagni, Bagno Vignoni (32 km), Cortona (29 km), Chianciano Terme (24 km), Castiglion del Lago on Lake Trasimeno (34 km), Montalcino (35 km), Assisi (70 km), the Abbeys of San Galgano, Sant' Antimo and Monte Oliveto Maggiore but also cities of art such as Siena, Perugia (50 km), Arezzo (45 km), Florence (100 km), Orvieto (30 km), Rome (180 km). The valley, surrounded by picturesque hills, is an ideal place for trekking, horse riding and bike riding along the roads and the paths flanked by hundred-years-old cypresses and pine trees, admiring the typical landscape of Tuscan hills covered in olive groves, vineyards and woods alternating with cultivated land.
Gusts can also practice other sports, such as fishing, golf- thanks to the training course situated near the house - tennis, five-a-side football and bowls thanks to the multi-sporting facilities with children’s playground situated at 100 m. from the house.
Guided tours are also available with sampling to a dairy farm where the famous sheep cheese of Pienza is made (a tour of the production department can also be booked), a visit to the dairy’s garden with a chance to help out with the plants and engage in a bit of gardening (in spring) and a visit to the animals of a nearby farm (calves, hens, geese, sheep and pigs).
