Tuscany Volterra: Accommodation in Farmhouse

Farmhouse description

History: the farmhouse in Volterra was, in early 800's, one of the most active furnaces Volterrano; this is demonstrated by the presence of the "oven" for the firing of the bricks still intact, but used for other purposes well...
In fact, the owners have chosen this place, to show beautiful, but especially good conservation of typical local products by themselves selected as the wine of the many companies in the area.
Structure: the transition from FORNACE to ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, and then in a FARM was quick, however, remained intact structures of the typical Tuscan farmhouse as the FIENILE and PICCIONAIA.
The structure consists of 5 apartments all treated to the smallest detail, the ceiling in beams and in mizzens of Florentine cotto, make them warm and charming, of course is that the heat increases when you turn on the fireplace (always ready to fire) and the fire of the wood gives everything a more romantic.
Common spaces: in panoramic terrace has placed a BRACERE TOSCANO always available to our guests, perhaps precisely to cook the famous FIORENTINA.
Also on this terrace are organized evenings and tasting theme.
The park of the estate, extends over 4000 square meters in all green equipped, especially the swimming pool exclusively for your relaxation.

Apartments

The apartments all with private entrance, outdoor equipped and exclusive, have a well-equipped kitchen to satisfy even the most demanding guests.
The satellite TV, heating and fireplaces need to put our customers in the total relaxation. Small nests with stone walls and floors rustic take the names of trees typical of our wonderful region as: QUERCIA, OLIVO, CIPRESSO, MELOGRANO, NOCE, BETULLA.
The pool (7 metres x 14 metres) fully equipped with deck-chairs, sun-bed and umbrellas is always available to guests at any time of day.
The space to relax certainly not lacking, the park is completely fenced to ensure the privacy of our customers.

Betulla room

The Betulla is a very large double bedroom with private bathroom, situated in a splendid garret to the first floor with a separate entrance.
The room is equipped with all the comforts: satellite TV, fridge.

Cipresso apartment

The Cipresso apartment, approximately 40 square meters, is located on the ground floor, and it consists of a kitchen with sofa bed, fireplace, satellite TV, a kitchenette with 4 fires, oven, refrigerator and all the dishes, bathroom with shower, and a double bedroom.
Heating, floors and ceilings built of brick, stone walls and external equipped with a table, chairs and umbrella.

Melograno apartment

The Melograno apartment approximately 55 square meters is located on the first floor and is placed on two levels: on the first there are the living room with sofa bed and TV satellite fireplace, kitchenette with a microwave oven, four burners, refrigerator and dishes, and bathroom with shower. On the second floor there are a single bedroom (to be transformed into a double, even if it is not very large) and a double bedroom.

Noce apartment

The Noce apartment approximately 60 square meters is located on the ground floor and is composed of a living room with sofa bed for 2 persons fireplace and satellite TV, a kitchenette with a microwave oven, four burners, refrigerator and kitchenware, bathroom with shower, double bedroom (where you can add a bed), bedroom with two beds and storage.
Heating, terracotta floors, stone walls, and outside in the garden there are a table with chairs and umbrella.

Olivo apartment

The apartment Olivo of about 40 square meters is located at the ground floor: kitchen with sofa bed to a place (140x190), satellite TV, fireplace and kitchenette with 4 burners, a microwave oven, refrigerator and all the dishes, bathroom with shower, and a double bedroom.

Quercia apartment

The Quercia apartment of about 40 square meters, is located on the ground floor and consists of a kitchen with sofa bed, fireplace, satellite TV and kitchenette with 4 burners, refrigerator, oven and all the dishes, bathroom with shower, and very large double bedroom (possibility to add a single bed).

The environs

Only 5 Km. from the very famous medieval village of Volterra, the farmhouse, thanks to its strategic position, is very close to the most renowned places and cities of Tuscany.Only 1 hour from Florence and Pisa, half an hour from san Gimignano and Siena. Besides in 1 hour you can reach Castiglioncello, the most exclusive seaside resort of the Tirrenic coast.
