Farmhouse description
Position: the Farm-Residence, immersed in the suggestive Tuscan countryside and surrounded by rolling hills and woodlands, offers its clients the possibility of long nature walks through the utterly tranquil countryside.
It is the perfect base for a holiday for those who love nature and are in search of a total peace and quiet, and therefore a holiday of complete relaxation.
Among the various itineraries available, one of the most interesting is an excursion to visit our own alabaster quarry, which showcases this intriguing stone that is found around Volterra.
Description: the building that houses the Farm-Residence is part of a historic Tuscan farm that dates back to the 1800s and was partially renovated in 1999, with great respect for the traditional architecture that was typically used in the houses built in the Tuscan countryside.
During the renovations we maintained all of the original cross vaults and the terracotta arches inside the ground-floor apartment, while, in the three apartments on the first floor, we maintained the characteristic wooden rafter ceilings. Just a few metres away from the apartments there is the historic Villa, still inhabited to this day, where there was once a house-tower in the 14th century.Accommodation: the Farm-Residence consists of three independent apartments which measure 60 square metres each. Each apartment can sleep up to four persons.

Apartment 2The apartment 2 on the first floor consists of a large living/dining room with a stone fireplace and a sofa bed, kitchen facilities, a bedroom with two beds and a bathroom.
